The situation

Stone Magic had a logo made as a social media graphic with an old phone number in it, no website and no photos of its own work yet. Its customers are homeowners, builders and kitchen makers choosing between three stones that look alike online but behave very differently, and most of them would rather send a WhatsApp than fill in a form. The site had to help people choose the right stone, collect everything needed for a quote, and stay honest about stock photos and the Caesarstone trademark.

What we built

A fast, static Next.js website: a home page that leads with what Stone Magic makes and the three stones, seven product pages, three material pages with a side-by-side comparison, four practical guides, an edge profile guide, a quote builder that opens WhatsApp or email with the job details filled in, and About, Contact and POPIA privacy pages. Structured data describes the business, its services, the guides and the FAQs for search engines and AI tools, and a floating WhatsApp button is on every page.

Key strategies
  • Rebuilt the client's own logo as clean vector files: three evenly spaced diamonds with traced crack veins, the wordmark traced as smooth curves, and a simplified favicon that still reads at 16 pixels
  • Removed the outdated phone number from the logo and built light and reversed versions in the logo's own black and greys
  • Matched the logo lettering with two fonts: Krona One for headings to echo the wordmark, and Urbanist for text to match the descriptor line
  • Organised the site around two questions, what do you want made and which stone, with a page for each of seven products and each of the three stones
  • Checked every Caesarstone fact against Caesarstone's own care and technical documents, and named the trademark factually without implying a dealer relationship
  • Drew the seven common edge profiles as clean cross-sections, because customers struggle to describe the edge they want
  • Built a quote builder that turns the item, stone, edge, size and cut-outs into one ready-written WhatsApp or email message, with nothing stored on the website
  • Labelled stock photography as inspiration in the footer until the client has photos of its own work
  • Calibrated fallback fonts in the browser so pages don't jump while the fonts load, on phones and desktops
Results achieved
  • Lighthouse on mobile, live: 96 to 100 for performance and 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO on every page tested
  • Zero layout shift on the pages tested, even with fonts loading slowly
  • Every enquiry arrives as a ready-to-quote WhatsApp or email message with the item, stone, edge, size, cut-outs and location
  • Clean layouts at every screen size from 320 pixel phones to wide desktops
  • Structured data for the business, services, guides and FAQs, with AI crawlers explicitly allowed
The outcome

Stone Magic launched with a professional, fast website that does the first part of every sale for it: visitors understand the difference between the stones, pick the edge they want, and send a complete quote request to the owners in under a minute.
